(no subject)
Jul. 26th, 2000 12:35 pmi feel like a leper, leaving bits of skin all over the place. i've had my peeling sunburn for the summer; don't let me forget my sunblock when i go to pennsic.
my shirt is almost done! i still need to put hooks on the cuffs and hem it, but it's wearable!
and i've recruited sarah, kate, and em to help me sew. :) i think i'm going to give sarah the drawstring skirts, kate the waistbanded skirts, and em the chemises. figuring out the curve in the pants is going to suck.
i found a place that sells the straw hats i've been looking for, and i'll have to order right away and probably pay extra to get it in time.

it's *not* okay that andy keeps skipping something that he professes to be interested in, and is one of the only times we can see each other, which is why i've been bitching about it. i know he's busy, though, so i don't hold it against him. emotional vs. intellectual response - and even though i may still have that emotional response, the intellectual is the one i act on. usually. unless i'm pmsing. (which i shouldn't be doing yet, so...)
mom's gone for a week, so we have a car that no one's using! happy. meaning i can concievably drive out to give sarah fabric and cd, and kate fabric, and sew/go fabricking with em, and maybe even see andy. :) still need to call caryn block about sewing at her house.
the empanadas in this box don't seem to be cooking as well as the last box. boo.
so yeah, i would write more frequently, but the downloadable client just sits on the login screen when i try to use it. and i'm too lazy to send an email to figure out what's wrong.
