well, my mother got home at 7 after claiming she'd be home by noon, which meant i didn't have much time to wheedle my way into going to the party. luckily the only condition was that i be on the insurance - and it was free to add me and took about 5 minutes. so that worked. and i showed up and got attacked.. it was lots of fun. and i got to crawl through the kitchen window a lot.
kate seemed to be having a good enough time, which was happy.
andy and em were... interesting. i was reminded of lori and ashok in a really, *really* odd sort of way. but it was fun. i should talk to em more.
you know, i should have convinced my mother that i would be safter driving later... you know, around 1 when most parties aren't quite over but it wouldn't be worth it to leave and go to another cause they're all *almost* over. whereas around ten or 11 is prime party-hopping time. yes mother, the drunks all come out to play at midnight. even though most of them are holed up in the bars till closing time at 3. hm... i wonder if the narrator in matchbox 20's 3am just got out of a bar? i don't remember the words well enough...
that box still hasn't arrived. this is worrying. but i have happy cds, so i don't have to worry about it *now*.
i can't drive anywhere until i learn how to drive a stick shift. meaning that i'll have to drive the stick shift anywhere i want to go. including rushhour traffic for whenever i go to tj. grr.
i did laundry so i have clean clothes! happy me. :) it was cold in my house, so putting on my jeans straight out of the dryer felt gooood...
