slept for 9 hours. i was going to get up in the morning and go to the clinic, and go back to sleep afterwards, but i figured uninterrupted sleep would be better for me. i actually feel slightly better, got replies from my teachers - shawn (my physics prof), said 'no problem, you can turn it in on Wednesday. feel better.' and lock (bio prof) said that we were probably going to the zoo but he had no idea when. maybe the 24th, maybe not. basically, don't even try to plan around it.
and now i put on clothing and go to the clinic. fun.

feed a cold, starve a fever.

so what do i do? i buy a big lunch. which i could only eat about half of. i is this many smart.

stopped by to get a book to read during the wait at the clinic. 45 min to an hour, they said. it's been about 30min, but it's not like i have anything else to do. i should call erick, though, and let him know i'm sick.

well, i just got tested for mono. they figured with the amount of symptoms i had, it was something viral, and my neck was tender like it would be if i had mono. the lymph nodes under my arm were sore too, so it could be a minor lymph infection or something.

i don't like getting blood drawn. i look like i have good veins, but they collapse down when you try to draw blood from them. i had almost started hyperventilating by the time she'd finished. this is why i've never donated blood....

oh, and i slept 9 hours and felt rested, whereas i usually can sleep for 12.... this suggests not mono to me.

w00t! no mono for me. ::happyjo::
but i don't know what i do have, and i still need to do my physics homework. bleh.

arrgh. don't you hate it when you get a bandaid that's so sticky that (provided it's one of the fabric ones) it unravels itself rather than actually disengaging from your skin?

oh dear lord. there was a posting board party for buffy the vampire slayer, and there are some pics of it posted online. i was looking through them and, and, spike... james with spiky hair, and ...and... leather pants....

when he smiles for the camera, he doesn't look human, more like a marble statue. when he smiles, *really* smiles, not just for pictures, he's *gorgeous*.

hey, a girl's allowed to have a little hero worship in her life, right? yay for celebrity idols. (especially ones that bear a resemblance to billy idol.) :)
