(no subject)

well, i thought i'd cut something wrong, but i hadn't. ...no, i sewed THE WRONG BACK PIECE on. which means that i can't just fix it on the one, because it'll make the other one wrong.

this means that *everything* i've done today has to be undone. everything. i have in effect wasted the day.
mom is going to rip out the piece for me and i'm going to work on one of the 30 other things i still have to do. parents announced (as i was trying to finish this so i could run my errands) that they were taking both cars on their own errands. so i haven't done any of that. i'll get my book back next week, trying to get there isn't working. i can do without the food stuff i was going to get, and i asked dad to get me a second solar shower. i dunno if he'll remember.

it took easily 3 times as long as i thought it would, and now i have to undo it. and mom was trying to get me to do something for her in exchange for driving me to pimmit. i don't even have time to do all the stuff *i* need to do! like i'm going to volunteer to do something else.

feeling better. i screwed up the chemise sides, though, so i'm recutting.... i think when i finish cutting, or maybe finish pinning, i'm having some ice cream. my hope is to have the chemise done and be starting on the green yelek before mom gets home. i already finished the gypsy chemise, which now is the exact right length. go me. i have this chemise, the yeleks, and the fencing shirt to finish. i think i got joel and mom to help me pin loops on the yelek, which will help...
