the party was fun. there was tons of greek food, and red wine because jon's dad runs a winery. i drove cait's car home again. in the meantime we played trivial pursuit and cranium, and watched trish open presents. amelia was having a rather bad time by the end of it, but i didn't know what to do, so i did nothing.
i went out looking for brendan with her when i got back - he'd had an argument with his girlfriend, and it was deemed to be a good idea to let him know people cared and were looking for him. amelia and i sat above the reflecting pool for a while. she's very bitter. a few weeks ago, one of her friends committed suicide. he seems to be a major source of beauty in her life, and now he's gone. life is basically a cruel joke for her at the moment. she's still sleeping in matt and cabel's room, because she doesn't want to sleep alone yet. although tonight she slept in the lounge, and jon and i slept on the floor of their room. it was fun. and celia and cory had the room to themselves.
went back to my room in the morning and slept some more. i said i'd do celia's laundry for her, so that'll get done in a little while. i'll probably do my costume drawings today, too. i may or may not go to the fall ball tonight... i still haven't decided.

hm. there may be some sort of sports event going on. i think i just heard cheering.

i really need to find someone who can drive me around town. i need to go to: home depot, various thrift stores, an army surplus store, a toy store.

i slept through lunch again, so i'm eating cheese. i wish the trail room was open on the weekends.

okay, laundry time.
