(no subject)

today was a day. chris kicked my makeshift shelf over this morning. (shut up, yes you did. stop arguing.) went to lunch with amelia and managed to not really get lost. i was so proud. thai-ger room is better, though. we came back and chris took a nap, and then we went out again. we hit about a third of the places i needed to go, but we got all of the ones i *really* needed to go to. got props stuff at art media, but not the quill pen i was supposed to look for in pioneer place. went to buffalo exchange where they didn't have the boots i wanted, and to dinner at cup and saucer where they wouldn't take my out of state check and i had to find an atm, then we went to home depot and got some pvc pipe for me, and then we went to clackamas town center where kaybee toys didn't have marbles and we shared a cinnabon, and waldenbooks (and powells on hawthorne) didn't have neverwhere. and the pet adoption center was closed and had no furry things.
i didn't go to a thrift store or army surplus store. i'll probably just give people a list of what stuff i think they can find where and make them get it. i need to figure out where to get a cleaver or something similar but blunt.

so yes. and! my docs didn't kill my feet. this makes me happy. i need to pack for tomorrow.
