took a day off, slept in, coddled my cramps, and read 'memoirs of a geisha' for japanese culture. that is a damn good book. i still have tons more homework to do, but i'm getting there. i drove keith to the train station without getting lost, but after that i really didn't want to drive anywhere else. also my hips and arms + shoulders + back hurt from hauling stuff yesterday. i'm such a weakling.
need to read social theory so i can write about it, and i have to write a draft/section of my ethnography this weekend. and i have to write my presentation response, and god knows what else that i'm forgetting about. ack. so tired.

on another note... )

the nice thing about putting up with the nurse is that she just gave me 2 free packs of birth control.

i almost couldn't get out of bed this morning. but then i sat up and realized that i wasn't really sleepy, just tired and the bed was comfy. so i went to class, got there 4 minutes late but i wasn't the last person. my arms and hips still hurt.

i need to work on the cty application, fill out the bookstore application, write my ethnography draft, go to the fabric store to get buttons, hell if i know what else.

haha, i totally didn't notice that one of the lines in sr-71's 'what a mess' is 'i am the lorax, and i speak for the trees.' kickass. :)

also, i like archers.

this looks like a good book, and i'm tempted to see if i can find it in the library. thanks to [livejournal.com profile] pyran for linking me. it's questions our current views of adolescent sexuality, and what is appropriate.
