dance will probably be enjoyable. it doesn't seem too early yet, and i could use the exercise. also, i'm not the least coordinated person in the class.
thesis shouldn't be too bad. i set my alarm wrong for my nap and got there half an hour late today, though. i've already written 20 pages about privacy on livejournal, so it shouldn't be too hard to widen the topic and get 50 pages out of it.
cyborg anthro: teacher is kind of annoying, but i'm sure i'll be able to apply this to my thesis. so far we talked about the combination of organic/human material and Other makes a cyborg of a sort. vitamin enriched rice, and how the relationship between a robot and its programmers is a cyborgian one.
linguistics will be a lot of work, but i don't think it will be too hard. and i don't think the teacher will annoy me. also jodi's in my class. i need to go over and borrow her book, since i'm ordering mine online and it won't get here for another week. ($20 cheaper than ordering it from school!)
american advertising and the science of signs will probably kick my ass, but bob goldman's such a good teacher that i don't mind. turns out it's going to be mostly theory and semiotics. i suck at theory. oh, well.
still haven't heard back from david. i have no ideas what his office hours are so i'm not sure i should just walk over there... maybe i'll try tomorrow around 2. seems like a good time for office hours.
ordering books online... two more to go, not counting the cyborg anthro books and the one i have to look for at powell's.
