so as i'm walking to class, i notice that the paths are lined with paper doll cutouts, and prepare to get angry with the american tendency to assume that we're the only people having bad things happen to us, and that no group outside of the country is dying in vast numbers - or if they are, they deserved it.

apparently i forgot that this was the lewis & clark campus i was walking through.

the sign explaining the cutouts says "each cutout represents 10 people killed in the september eleventh attacks and the subsequent bombing of afghanistan."

i like my school.

on a different note, i got to sleep way late last night, but my printer is hooked up, drives have been scandisked, and i did all my homework. of course, this means that i opted for sleep over lunch when i woke up, but still. i have plenty of flex points to buy snacks with. i'm annoyed that the trail room has no lemons or limes whatsoever, though.

in other news, something smells weird. and despite the fact that i'm sweaty, it's not me.
