Jan. 30th, 2003 04:23 pmstark visited, so i've been busy. when we planned for him to come down this week, i didn't have much to do, just some homework on monday night and 2 classes each day. by the time he got here, i had the activities fair from 4-6 on wednesday and a hall meeting at 6.45, and my homework took me till 4 in the morning. ack.
i now have a really nice new monitor, 19" flatscreen (which isn't the same as lcd), that after rebates cost $190. spending that much money was hard to convince myself to do, but now that i look at the monitor, it's sooooooo nice. and i can see dark colors again!
also, i got three packages in the mail today: the lemon zinger green tea that i ordered because stores no longer carry it, gypsy and the fragments tape from tucker (yay! i wasn't expecting the book. and i'll try not to lose the tape this time), and a box full of mail and clothing from mom. clothing is the stuff she ordered for me over christmas: a dressy sleeveless silk top (need a size smaller), a sweatshirt (bit lighter green than i wanted, but it's made of silk!), a black linen shirt, some linen pants that i don't like, and an absolutely gorgeous dark red embroidered dupioni silk shirt. sooooo pretty. so pretty i'll wear it even though i never wear red.
need to write up my budget request for fencing by tomorrow, and mail in the rebates for the monitor - for which i have to photocopy the upc code. also i'm very tired, which is weird because i woke up early this morning.
