in other news, i took last week off and did nothing but spend money. :P granted i was spending money on costuming projects and food, but still. didn't do much cleaning, did a whole lot of sleeping instead.
stark got us final fantasy 11, so we played that all weekend. now we're in the middle of three games - ff11, dynasty warriors, and neverwinter nights. my mithra (cat person) thief is named meirle, which is thief/steal in gaelic, and is very close to "merle", the name of an anime cat. yay thief.
stark and i are both sick, but i think he's worse than i am. i'm just bitchy (which is due in part to the pms), but he's miserable. poor guy.
the first bit of fabric for the zhuge liang costume should arrive this week. coincidentally, it was ordered last week and this week is the free shipping promotion. feh.
westaff called me about working today, on friday. but my phone died that day and i didnt' get the message till saturday, when both they and icom were closed. so i couldn't call anyone to confirm that i could show up, and wasn't sure if i *should* show up. if they sent someone else, it would have been slightly awkward - but westaff doesn't open till 8 and i have to start getting ready before 7. the upshot is that westaff did want me to show up, i got here an hour or so late, and everyone was still happy to see me. yay.
and now, back to work.
