(conservative, christian) walden may have done okay with narnia, but that actually *is* a thinly veiled christian allegory. this is supposed to be more of an arthurian allegory, if anything.
in the spirit of "maybe it won't blow chunks," i'm hoping for liam neeson or someone a little more beakish as merriman, ioan gruffudd as the rider, ben kingsley or gary oldman as the walker.
