i saw a guy in the bon today who looked like brian froud's puck. he had kind of a thin, sharpish face. short tousled wavy light brown hair that swept back over his ears to suggest that they were hiding pointy tips. and his eyes and eyebrows slanted back on the same line as the sweep of his hair. he had a wide mouth and just seemed... mischievous. i'm glad i don't know him, cause i'd probably let him get away with being a jerk on account of puck being a troublemaker.

there's a picture somewhere that i drew when i was... i dunno, between 8 and 12, of the sunset looking out from kalaloch beach. i didn't know what the island with the lighthouse on it was, then, but i found out that it's destruction island. i've been trying to find good pictures of kalaloch, of the beach in the morning or of the river among the trees that empties into the ocean, but i've come up empty so far.

ohhh... english renaissance lit... i wonder if anyone other than lyle asher ever teaches it? it's a 300 level class, and asher grades low, it would kick my ass so hard... but dammit i wanna take it.

erica's talking to a friend of hers, i don't know exactly what about, but restraining orders were mentioned, as well as a third person who keeps threatening to commit suicide, and money problems. :( i have no idea if there's anything for me to do, or if she needs comforting or anything. i'll let her know that all of us bitter single chicks are doing secret gift exchanges for valentine's, though, maybe she'll want to do that.

i got paint on my cargos. this makes me sad. i have to figure out if i brought the paint remover or not... i know i had some at home, and i'm pretty sure i have some here, but i'm not sure where it would be.

i got a card from aunt becca! (my favorite aunt (i have, er, 4), one of the two lesbians.) i feel bad cause i haven't given her a thankyou yet. i'll email her.

physics always seems really short, cause he spends the first 20 min of an hour long class telling some completely unrelated story. and he does lots of demonstrations. today's involved breaking test tubes and 'magically' putting them back together - he'd drop the broken bits in a beaker of mineral oil and pull out a whole test tube that had been rendered invisible by the oil.

raar. bored. internet connection sucks.
