Mar. 8th, 2001 05:32 pmthe sun and clouds are being weird again. we got seattle's thunderstorm, which was nice. but it's stopped raining now and the sun's shining. except it's still cloudy. so there's a tree outside my window, no leaves yet or maybe just buds, and the sun's shining directly on it. it's glowing gold with a faint greenish tinge, and looks really neat behind the deep blue grey of the sky behind it.
and a group of fir trees are dappled by sunlight in a way that confuses my depth perception and makes my eyes hurt.
went to soc. it didn't suck, i was surprised. talked about the milgrim experiment (testing to see how people react to authority) and briefly about that malai massacre, which i don't know much about - happened in vietnam. i need to do the reading on those, and then i'll come back and fix the spelling. :)
sent my overdue visa bill and scholarship app request in just before the mail room closed. once the check goes through i'll send in an application for a visa card without an annual fee and with a better (or equally decent, i'm not sure) apr. fixed, at least, which my current card isn't. and i got a discover card, also without any fees, and a 9.99% apr. i'm transferring the remainder of my visa charges to the discover, it'll be much nicer. and then i'm getting rid of that crappy old card. yay, me.
