gah. i liked it better when people considered my dorm the convent and guys were too scared of it to visit, so all the girls left if they wanted to party or get drunk. at the moment i'm listening to the sound of some guy puking in the girls-only bathroom. and i don't think he made it to the toilets before he started. grr.

okay, so i didn't actually sleep... jason came over with more fudge around 5.30. we talked for a while - and i forced him to read the style invitational - and then he drove me to denny's for grasshopper sundaes.

or rather, tried. we turned an intersection too early, and instead of turning around, going back and taking the correct road, we decided to go on and explore. an hour and a half later, we end up at a denny's in wilsonville and that was when we were heading *back*, we're good at getting lost.

it was lots of fun, i've never really had a chance to just drive around before. getting lost was always a bad thing. but we just drove... i babbled a lot. and then before we got back on i-5 he found me some back roads and we had our very own rollercoaster, cause i'd mentioned that i thought it was fun. and it was.

and now i'm going to nap. i much prefer the sunrise this way; waking up to see it spoils the whole thing. although seeing the sun rise with the knowledge that you haven't slept yet and it's going to be another 16+ hours until you can possibly sleep again ruins it a little.

well, i set my alarm for 10.15 this morning. i think i may have turned it off in my sleep, because i didn't wake up until jodi came to see if i wanted to eat brunch. i said something incoherent and didn't *really* wake up until i looked at the clock, which said 11.40. d'oh. i got to the theatre in time for the actor's call, and then discovered that all the techs were going to have lunch. so i ate lunch. i tried to be really useful and make up for not being there on time. i got to leave at 3, and was planning on going back at 5 because melanie said there was an hour's worth of techie stuff to do after the actors left. so i set my alarm (hoping it would be more effective this time) and took a nap. i woke up when melanie called and said i didn't need to show up after all. so i got 45 more minutes of sleep before going to the vaguely edible, as usual, dinner. and then i came back here and procrastinated. i have negative motivation.
