yeah, i'm majoring in sociology and not taking any sociology classes next semester. the thing is, there isn't much offered. the department focuses on colonial latin america, for some reason, which i have no interest in whatsoever. the other classes being offered are either entry level (which i've taken), full (and interesting, and required), or have 200-level prereqs (which i haven't taken because they're full.)

qualitative research methods is a required class. sociology of work, leisure, and consumption is taught by a teacher i like, and counts towards prereqs. neither of them conflict with my schedule. both are full. :P maybe i can talk to bob goldman (the teacher i like, and the department head) about taking one of them anyway. one person over the limit isn't going to put them out too much.

and dammit, there *is* space in that shakespeare class. rrgh. gotta talk to lyell.

mom found clementines! yum! ::munches::

clementines are sort of like valenti.... no that's not right. they're miner's daught... no, that's not right either. they're orange citrus fruits, a little larger than a tennis ball, with very thin skin (easy to peel!) and they taste kinda like tangelos. i think tangelos are what they taste like, at least.

when i called home from work, mom said rebecca was sick, so we weren't going out to dinner. instead, i was going to come home and take her to rebecca's around 7.30. a few minutes ago, she said it wouldn't be more than an hour before we left.

::looks at watch::

i blame my perpetual lateness on my mother.
