dad mentioned in passing at dinner something about a phone message for me. i realized that it hadn't ever been explained, so i went and asked. turns out joel took the message, which consisted of the fact that saa called. would he have told me if i hadn't asked? of course not. and now it's rather too late to call her.

let that be a lesson, folks: if you leave a message with my brother, it's disappeared into the void.
