i had dinner at the metro cafe downtown. damn good (expensive) food. i owe caitlin $13. i wore my spiffy black velvet blazer. i love that thing. :) although i need to mend the pocket.
after that, we went to a party at dani's house. i saw a bunch of people i haven't seen in a very long time, including the people who dropped me off at the airport at the end of freshman year. i had a very good mudslide at the beginning of the night, and spent the rest of the night giving caitlin water whenever she spilled something or tripped over anything. she seemed to appreciate it, and i had to counteract cristina giving her a beer every time she finished one.
i saw peter again, who was in into the woods. he's neat. or maybe he's just cute. he's very good at listening, it's pretty funny when you notice. i also saw a guy who reminded me of evan - similar looks, but more hair and less height. evan's much more interesting, though. i bet cristina would be absolutely fascinated by him.
i ended up driving caitlin's car home, which was difficult, because she lived off campus. we had to go to campus, drop off amanda (who was being very risque. i think this was her first time actually drinking. she did a good job of stopping, though), and then cristina followed caitlin and i back to caitlin's house, etc. cristina claims i'm a good driver. i think i was probably driving very slowly, due to it being an unfamiliar car, and roads i'd never driven on before and didn't know the speed limit on. her accelerator was weird. cristina gets distracted too easily to be a good driver, i think. kinda like jen. :)

on a different note, i wonder where celia is. maybe she's at a party too or something. usually she goes to sleep by midnight, though, and it's 2.15. hm...

i'm going to art media tomorrow for supplies. yay, supplies. i get to buy pretty colored pencils. :)

today was fun. but bad, because i spent money. i went to art media with caitlin and erin, and bought supplies for costume history. paper and brushes and watercolor pencils. i drooled on the charcoal sets but managed not to buy them. i so want to learn how to do greyscale charcoal drawings.
had an avocado&spinach&mozzarella crepe for lunch, and we headed to the hawthorne district. i've never been there before. there's a shop that has some gorgeous things i'd love to get mom for christmas. i'll have to save up. and there's a cat shop where i didn't find any miniatures i liked, but did find a real cat who was quite furry. then we went to red light district, a used/vintage clothing shop much like classic rags in carlisle, only at least twice the size. i found a gorgeous strappy black dress with a flared skirt. sooo pretty, $14. it makes me happy. i need to shorten the straps, and when the light hits my cleavage it's slightly translucent and you see interesting shadows.

then we dropped erin off and saw her absolutely gorgeous kittens. one looks like a siamese, the other is grey with a few white patches. they're about 5 months old, and my hair is a chew toy. or something. her house is pretty too - ugly on the outside, but wood floors and all on the inside. and it's in the trees, and smells nice. and she has a relatively small room and pays under $200 a month, plus utilities. i like portland college housing. :)

but yes. i have stuff! stuff is fun. and i need to figure out how i'm getting to autumn war... gary called while i was gone, and for some reason i would rather not ride with him.

i got invited to go to powells and coffee tonight... i think i will go. maybe. i have no money. i should therefore not be spending it.

celia and people and i went to powells and then to the pied cow, where with the money i don't have i got psion (the first book in a series of which i have the other two) and a mocha float. and then i left my bag with my book and my pencils under my chair. so now i have to figure out how to get back there tomorrow. it'll suck, lots. i think my best bet is to wait till the shuttle starts running at 7pm and go then, and take the 15 out from pioneer square... bah. it'd be easier to get someone to drive me, but that's not a quick jaunt; it's not near anything except itself.

and i was having so much fun, too.... this is why i usually carry my backpack if i'm carrying something - it's too big to forget. i was going to spend tomorrow doing my costume history homework, but now i can't, because my pencils are in the bag, and i can't get to it during the day.
