(no subject)
Jan. 2nd, 2002 12:54 ami went to richmond for a sca(ish, mostly) new years party. got a ride from ragnar, who has a *very* big vehicle.
got to the party, discovered that i'd forgotten about the hot tub and thus a bathing suit. luckily i had a black tanktop and black panties. and spares of both. and scott likes giving backrubs and has hands that don't ever get tired. so i got lots of backrubs. about 30 minutes of which was in the hot tub. the water wasn't hot enough for the really interesting reaction, but it still felt good. watched people play computer games, watched dvd extras from various movies, discovered that we didn't have cable, satellite, or even an antenna, so we just argued about whose watch was right and celebrated the new year on our own time. troyandsarah and jeremyandjessie had a kissing contest. but the j's lost because jessie was in perfect position for a wedgie (tag sticking up and everything) and i just couldn't resist. it was great. :)
i got a backrub (or foot rub, or scalp massage) for almost the entire time i was awake. when i woke up at noon, the muscles between my shoulderblades were sore to the touch - but it was the soreness of healing muscles. there were no knots anywhere. they're coming back, though, because it's too damn cold in this house. but i felt sedated for most of the time... scott found my off button. he'd do the right thing to my back and i'd just flop. it amused him greatly.
today i watched people play gta3 and ignored the football game (even though i was in tech territory... they lost even though everyone kicked joe out of the room) and eventually we went to outback. it was yummy, although i only had room for about 2 bites of my steak. oh well, lunch. :)
nick looks like legolas, especially because bri put three small braids in his hair. he's gorgeous when he smiles, and i'm not sure he realizes it.

oh, they had a drawing for the complete set of burger king lotr action figures. i won. figures when i win something like that it's pointless. :) i'll find something to do with them, though.
