(no subject)

went fencing today. i couldn't see the sign for the school in the dark and rain, so i drove past it and had to turn around in a driveway. we were outside but under a covered area. cold. but i fought 3 people for a long time. talan apparently has calibration problems only with me - he knocked my mask sideways, made me glad i was wearing a gorget, and hit me in the ribs. no damage this time, though. and i can't remember the name of the black guy i fought, but he was lots of fun. apparently he does dance and martial arts, and it showed up in his fighting. however, he did this sudden deep lunge thing which was very nice, but never worked. he must have been telegraphing it somehow, even though i'm not sure what i picked up on.

wasn't feeling well this morning, so i missed methods. i'll have to collar catherine at some point and get her to tell me what happened. i like my japan class. it's tiny. and i got to take nails out of boards in the shop. i got a metal splinter, though, that sucked.

and now, for my third meal of the day. you know, the one where there's no food actually available to eat. :P oh, and reading.
