my mother send me an article on this guy who killed his friend's father. he believed the father was abusing his friend. and also he was a schizophrenic and his invisible friends encouraged him to kill the father. however, the focus of the article seems to be about how this guy and his friends all did rpgs together and were wiccan.

...nice to see that now even games involving creativity instead of just pressing buttons are being blamed for violence. the guy had friends because of the gaming. he killed someone because he was a schizophrenic.

i sent her the url to the chick track on dungeons and dragons.

also, we spent most of social theory talking about intimidation on campus after a girl came in crying. there's some sort of band camp going on, and a group of football players were making derogatory comments (ie racial and sexual slurs) about them in very loud voices. the girl confronted them and said they were making her uncomfortable and being inappropriate, they claimed they hadn't done anything and told her that she was making them feel uncomfortable. note that she's about my size.



if i haven't killed anyone by the end of the week, it will have been a success.
