have i mentioned recently that i strongly dislike reading theory? in particular, hobbes, locke, rousseau, and marx. i have to reread all of them, and it just took me 3 hours to read 60 pages of locke - half of what i need to read for him.

this will be a very long weekend.

well, it took me all day (2-11, with about 2 hours off) to read the 170 pages about hobbes and locke. now i have to find explanations of it so i can actually have something to say.
philosophy is *so* hard for me to pay attention to. i keep devolving into just reading words, rather than ideas. i'll realize that i've just read an entire page without having comprehended a single sentence.

i would make some coffee, but i'm not sure how, and i don't have sugar.
