aim keeps logging out and back in, which means my computer's running slow - trillian maxes out the processor when dealing with people logging out and in.

also, apparently christian bale is gloria steinem's stepson. i need to watch newsies again, and dead poets society. (yes, i realize that's unrelated, but christian bale reminds me of ethan hawke.)

"I took it like a man. He was really tender, very caring. He hugged me afterward. But he never writes. He never calls. Goddamn him!
"Actually, it was a freezing night when we were doing the scene, and it was far less explicit than Ewan and myself thought it was going to be. The camera was on another roof looking across at us. The only thing Todd did was whisper, 'Cut,' rather than shouting it, so that Ewan and I couldn't hear. We were going at it for ages. Then Ewan sort of turned his head and realized, 'Hey, the camera's not f--king pointed at us anymore!' So, I sort of turned my head. We stop, and the whole crew is just sitting there. They'd cut ages ago!"

by the way, if anyone who reads this understands locke and hobbes, burke, kant, hegel, and marx, im me tomorrow (see user info for various methods of contact). i'm getting melted brains all over my notes and could use some help.

one of the questions mentions the relationships of communities in locke and hobbes, and i don't remember that being mentioned at all. at least i only have 140 pages left to read, as opposed to the 170 i read today. and i know the piece on kant is easy, and there are sparknotes for the communist manifesto.
