Mar. 11th, 2002 07:18 amif you read this before 10 pacific time and feel like expounding on marx, im me. i need someone to bounce ideas off of - bouncing them off of my skull results in gobbledygook. but that's okay because none of this stuff makes sense anyway unless you're sleep deprived.

Mar. 11th, 2002 11:30 pmdid a lot of napping today. hopefully i'll be able to finish all the reading. my sugar high (cabel ordered cinnamon breadsticks for me) is wearing off.
luckily this reading is a lot easier than philosophy. i'll study tonight, take the test tomorrow, do very little in japanese culture, finish my social theory paper, study for the theater test... blah. i have to figure out what i'm doing at fencing wednesday, and study the abcs for fencing thursday, and write a theater paper for friday.
and then there's still a week till spring break. i spent a lot of time watching jon play warcraft 3 because i needed to see graphics instead of words. i didn't really have time to do that, but oh well.
wish me luck and caffeine.
oh, and i might be going to new york to see rent at the end of may. ::grin:: it does mean that i'd have to come home soon after the destreza thing instead of staying in seattle, but i think that'll be okay. should i bring computer home, so i can take it to cty if i get in?
goldman agreed to write me a professional/academic recommendation on the condition that i catch up on my webct posts. sounds reasonable to me. :) and now i have more reason to write those posts. i'd like to get in touch with billie sutter, because she's the only one who's actually seen the way i deal with being in charge of teenagers, but she remains elusive.
i'll probably be taking linguistics next semester. which means i need to brush up on my german, and convince evan that i'm fun to talk to, because he already knows a lot of what i'll be learning and will be perfect to bounce ideas off of.
i discovered that if i nap on my back with pants on, my left thigh from hip to knee will cramp and ache horribly. i think it's because the wallet raises my hip enough to overextend it. i had two bananas for lunch, which helped a little.
i'm babbling to avoid work again, aren't i? right then. back to reading.

Mar. 11th, 2002 11:42 pmoh, and i got an a- on my theater paper. he really liked it, but i didn't refer to the text enough, and i didn't draw in the article well enough. that and i didn't document my sources of info on domestic tragedy. he assumed it was lyell asher's class.
in other news, i've gotten to the 's' mp3s. 27 hours left.
