Jun. 7th, 2002 09:00 pmyesterday i got nauseous and lost what little i'd eaten, twice. then i had chicken satay and a peppermint shake with no problems whatsoever. also the stitch on the right side untied itself and came out. i hope that's not a problem.
i didn't fence yesterday due to my stomach hating me, but i did go. and this time i even got to eat the dinner i made right before i left (for lunch today) - salmon with rebecca's sauce (ginger, brown sugar, soy sauce, white wine vinegar, orange juice) which was very good.
also yesterday i went shopping for stuff to wear to the wedding. i ended up getting white persian-type pants (you know, the kind i've been meaning to make for a while but don't because the cuffs scare me) and a loose tank top thing, and a choker to go with it. the top is dark turquoise, the choker is rows of white, silver, and light blue beads on wire. today i got silver sandals to go with it.
when i got the sandals i also got fencing shoes. except for the seam separating the top from the sides of the shoe, they look very period. they're brown leather, buckled across the arch.
i need to find a ride to fencing sunday because friedrich isn't going. and tomorrow i need to do laundry. right now, however, i am going to visit andy! and we will finally exchange cds. hopefully i won't fall asleep on the way there or back.
