finally roasting the lamb, and it smells soooo good. it has garlic, rosemary, thyme, sage, ginger, and salt & pepper on it. i might put some lemon juice on it in a little while, too. or red wine, maybe? hm.

what goes well with lamb? i think we're having potatoes, but that's all i could think of.

total wine carries raspberry lambic. :) i am very happy about this. also i have some.


argh! so hungry! and it'll be another hour before the lamb is done. at least this peach is good.

so good... roast lamb, steamed baby green beans, baked potatoes, and gravy. and mint jelly because we had it in the cupboard and what else are we supposed to use it for? i wasn't sure i'd like it, but it was good. and everything else was *perfect*. and! we have enough left for at least one more meal - including gravy, which we usually run out of.

of course i discovered the recipe for lamb stuffed with mushrooms after i'd already stuck it in the oven. (because i love mushrooms and we have some portobellas we need to use.)

now i am full. my dad is teasing my brother about turning into him.

i think i'll just sit here and digest, because dad and joel get to do clean up. :)
