I'm having one of those days again, where I'm obsessed with going back to 1995 or so and trying again now that I know what the fuck I'm doing - the same thing I do with computer games but on a much larger scale. You get to a certain point in the game and realize that, now that you know how the game works, you could restart from a previous save and end up in a much better position by the time you got back to where you are now.

So, since I'm already thinking about it, maybe I should get the rest of you involved as well.

When you go back to an earlier save point in a video game, you take your knowledge of the game and apply it to an earlier version of your character. Doing the same for your life would take your current consciousness and apply it to your earlier body.

  • If you could revert your life to a previous save, how far back would you go?
  • Would you want to go a completely different direction, or just take the same path but better?
  • What are the main things you'd want to do differently?
  • And, of course, why?
