shadowsongsuch a waste. apparently the manager expected me this morning, and she goes home around 6. so i got there, discovered casa was on sale, and spent $40 on 7 yards of eggplant colored satin. i want that dress so badly. talked briefly with the sca guy who apparently has 6 or 7 sewing machines sitting around... i wonder if i can convince him that i should have one of them?
took the 12 back downtown where i discovered that the makeup department closes at 8. i'll be going back at 6.30 tomorrow if the tech stuff ends early enough. yay makeover! also i need to figure out how to get to the store bonnie told me about. i really want those opaque thigh highs, and i have a feeling they'd have appropriate corsety type things as well. i'd like to get that serpentine corset (velveteen victorian-style, around $85) but it'd ship from australia and wouldn't get here for a month. so i'll continue to contemplate it.
there was some bike ride thing, so there were tons of bicyclists on the shuttle home. it was packed. and there was some sort of accident with the road blocked off for a while and i really had to pee and it was very uncomfortable. the novel i'm reading for cyborg anthro has interesting ideas but isn't all that well done.
