so i decided that since there was nothing i wanted to eat, and i was hungry, i would make indian pudding.

...it takes four hours. so i'll have something to eat at 2am. :)

joel and i just watched the fifth element. i'm glad i finally got to see it, it was pretty cool. and now joel needs to see run lola run, because he expressed a liking for the soundtrack of this movie. and as... sarah? put it: run lola run is the best 90 minute music video ever made.

going to make a run for ice cream and whipped cream in a minute. whee.

lots of customers, when complaining about paying more than they expected for something that was shelved wrong, conveniently forget about all the times when they've put a bolt of fabric down in the first empty space they see whether or not that's where it belongs. also one lady complained because not only was the fabric shelved in the wrong place, it didn't say what the price was anywhere. at which point i looked at her blankly and pointed to the end of the bolt, where it said "5.99", right there in the same place all the other bolts have prices.

mary ellen and i started out the same amount of sick, but she just kept getting worse. :( she did let me go home an hour early, although it was really only 45 minutes. i picked up my paycheck and found out that the closest joann's to lc is willing to hire me. now if only they'll still be willing to do that when i tell them i can only work one day a week. :)

i'm heading to vitha's any minute now, where she will probably make me take apart everything i've done so far.
