Apr. 14th, 2003 04:40 amhow is it that people are incapable of figuring out how old their journal is? the date created is right on your userinfo, it's really not that hard to figure out. it's bad enough when people just can't remember correctly (despite the fact that the info's right there, they don't have to depend on memory) but what really pisses me off is when people deliberately give me the wrong answer. for example, brad's original journal is 45 months old. there are probably no more than 30 people with journals over 35 months old. so when someone tries to be funny and puts down 42, or 71, or 110... it's really not funny. one was from tj, too, and it makes me want to hit him for not only not taking academics seriously, but for fucking it up for someone who *is* trying to take it seriously. fuckers.
..okay, so maybe there are more like 2000 users who are older than 35 months. but still, overall percentage of the lj population and how many of those accounts would still be active, blah blah blah. feh.
